Happy Easter and Passover to all. Rajashree (Bikram’s wife) came to speak to us today pool-side. She let us know that they are working on getting a new door installed. Apparently someone who has it out for Bikram meticulously planned this little kink in our plans. The surprise inspection was strategically planned just after the training had commenced and right before the Passover/Easter weekend in order to ensure that the problem would not be easily resolved. Tomorrow morning, Rajashree will teach her class in the Grand Ballroom of The Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel. We will be having class there until the new door can be delivered, installed, and inspected. Until that point, we’ll be practicing yoga in a standard room-temperature climate.
I felt pretty nauseous yesterday after a fairly difficult class at the Studio City Bikram Studio, but a good lunch and an afternoon hanging out with Dave, Clay, Kristen, Jessica, and Brian helped to lift my spirits and my stomach!
